It’s no secret that we are all about romance, and when we learned that Dan proposed to Nuavana while vacationing in Bora Bora, we were beyond excited for them!  We cannot think of a more romantic place to get engaged.  The island’s stunning setting would be the perfect location to relax and kick off the season of being fiancé’s.  We have absolutely loved getting to know these two.  Both are amazing, and it has been so fun to hear their story!  Dan recently finished up law school, and is studying for the Bar. Nuavana is a runner, and has completed both marathons and Ironman races.  They love spending summers on the lake, and are seriously so much fun together!  From the moment they booked their wedding, we couldn’t wait for their engagement session!

St. Anthony Main was the perfect place for Nuavana and Dan’s session with its variety of urban backdrops and natural settings alongside the Mississippi River.  We had a blast as we explored the streets together. These two looked absolutely amazing with their classy dress and suit combo, as well as their more casual looks, complete with Nuavana’s gorgeous shoes!  Their neutral blue colors worked perfectly with the city’s brick backdrops, and the natural greens beside the river. 

Summertime in Minneapolis is simply the best, and these dreamy warm evenings provide ideal light for capturing engagement sessions!  We especially love photographing around the Machine Shop, and can’t get enough of its surrounding light and bright spaces.  We captured a few photos of Nuavana’s ring, and are already counting down the days until their wedding next summer at one of our favorite venues – the Hutton House in Medicine Lake.  There is no doubt that their big day will be incredible, and we can’t wait to celebrate alongside their family and friends!
