Summer engagement sessions are officially underway, and we could not be happier to be out and about with our couples!  We were so excited to connect with Julie and Phil for their session on St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis. When Julie reached out to book her wedding after hearing of us through two of our previous brides, we were thrilled!  It is always such an honor to receive referrals!

We met for their engagement session on one of the most gorgeous summer evenings yet!  Golden hour was at its finest, and we started things off near Aster Cafe and the Machine Shop with its white and brick backdrops.  Julie and Phil looked amazing, and the soft evening light was nothing short of perfection!  The golden sunshine and the greens of the trees, along with the light neutral hues of the bricks worked perfectly with their outfits!  We finished up on St. Anthony Main and stopped along the riverside to capture some shots with the city skyline. As we strolled the streets, we had a great time chatting as we explored.  One of our favorite things about engagement sessions is that it gives us a chance to get to know our couples more and to connect before their wedding!  

Julie and Phil first met as hockey coaches for separate teams.  It wasn’t until they began coaching together that the two began to hit it off.  Phil proposed to Julie while on vacation together in Naples, Florida, and while we may be a bit bias, we can’t think of a more romantic setting to get engaged!  They are now planning their big day at one of our favorite venues – The Hutton House in Medicine Lake!  We can’t wait to capture their wedding next summer as they celebrate surrounded by their family and friends!
