The anticipation of photographing engagement sessions in sunny, Southwest Florida will never get old, and leaves us giddy with excitement every time!  We love meeting our couples, and when Kristen and Justin requested Sanibel Island’s Lighthouse Beach for their session, we were thrilled! This island is one of our favorite places in Florida, and we could not wait to connect with these two for their sunset session on the beach!

We met on an absolutely breathtaking evening and soaked up every second of golden hour light as we explored the beach together.  Beginning among the palm trees and sand, we walked through the paths to the historic lighthouse, and ended along the water’s edge as the sun began to set.  The evening could not have been more perfect!  Kristen and Justin looked amazing, and we love the variety that each of their outfits brought to the session.  Their colors were ideal for coordinating with the island’s natural greens and blues, and the sky’s soft hues of pink and gold.

Kristen and Justin are such a beautiful couple, and it has been so much fun getting to know their story!  Growing up in Southwest Florida, the two met in college, and their love story began.  Justin designed Kristen’s gorgeous ring and got down on one knee to propose last fall.  They are now busy planning their wedding, and we are so honored to be a part of capturing their big day!  The two will tie the knot at the incredible A Line Ranch in North Fort Myers this coming winter.  Kristen and Justin are working with the fabulous Lexi & Co. Weddings and Events to design their dream day, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends!  We are already counting down the days until the New Year!
