We can hardly believe our season here in Florida is so quickly coming to a close!  It seems as though it were just yesterday that we had arrived in the sunshine state, eager to settle in and start serving couples and families on Southwest Florida’s most beautiful beaches.  We began booking spring portrait sessions last summer, and at the time, we felt as though our season in the south was forever away.  Not long after, the new year began, and before we knew it, we were soaking in every minute of photographing beautiful people in breathtaking places, getting to know the unique backdrops of each stunning setting.  

When Sarah reached out to book her family session this past February, we were excited to see what the beaches would be like in late-April.  Spring break season has now come and gone, and while many travelers and locals are still eager to visit the beach, we have found things to be quieting down along the coast.  Sarah’s family arrived for their session at Naples Pier on an absolutely gorgeous evening, and we could not wait to begin!  They had brought their adorable Miniature Goldendoodle along, and it was so much fun to capture photos of all of the sweet puppy snuggles!  

We began with portraits alongside the Pier before walking down to explore the water’s edge.  Naples Beach at sunset is one of our favorites for portrait sessions, and we had such a great time chatting and getting to know Sarah’s family!  Unlike many of the families we’ve photographed, who’ve travelled down on vacation, they call Florida home.  With Sarah’s Iowa roots, we definitely share her appreciation of Florida’s incredible winter weather.  It was such a pleasure serving her beautiful family, and we are so happy that they are able to enjoy Southwest Florida year-round!
