Photographing engagement sessions on the beaches of Naples, Florida will forever be one of our favorite things that we get to do!  There is something incredibly romantic about documenting love stories surrounded by palm trees and sugar-white sand in the sunshine state.  We also love connecting with couples as they celebrate the season of being engaged.  The way that they look at each other is simply beautiful, and it is an absolute joy to capture!  Alexa and Derrek are such a stunning couple, and it was so much fun to spend time with them on one of the most gorgeous evenings at the Naples Beach Pier.

We strolled along the streets together, stopping to take advantage of breathtaking backdrops at every turn.  We are always on the lookout for light and bright spaces, and it is truly a photographer’s dream to explore Naples. Alexa and Derrek looked amazing, and the colors of their outfits were ideal both for downtown and the beach! As the sun began to set, we headed for 12th Avenue South and the Pier.  Golden hour is always a dreamy time of day, but the way that the light shines through the pier at sunset is especially magical! We walked along the water’s edge as the waves rolled in and soaked in all the beauty that the beach has to offer.  

Alexa and Derrek’s session could not have been more perfect, and capturing this part of their sweet love story was such an honor!  We had the best time together, and can’t wait for their wedding at the incredible Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida.  With its European inspired decor, and clean black and white aesthetics, we are beyond excited to photograph their big day in its gorgeous space.  We are already counting down the days until January of next year!
