It was one year ago that a friend first suggested Manasota Key Beach in Englewood as a must-see spot on our trip down along Florida’s gulf coast. Not only is this beach stunning, and perfect for photographing engagement sessions, but it is also covered in sugar-white sand, seashells, and shark teeth! These tiny treasures make it a unique location to visit, whether you are a Sunshine State local, or just visiting on vacation. Traveling to different beaches in Southwest Florida has been amazing, and we are always excited to share what we’ve discovered with our family, friends, and clients along the way!
Kirsten and Brian also share our love of travel to beautiful places! It was on a trip from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California that Brian asked Kirsten to marry him. Their story is so sweet, and we think that anytime you propose using a grandmother’s ring, it is going to be pretty special! Of course Kirsten said yes, and the wedding planning began! They also planned a getaway to visit Kirsten’s parents on Anna Maria Island and decided to book a destination engagement session at the same time. We could not wait for their session, and drove up to meet them in Englewood on an absolutely breathtaking evening!
These two are so much fun together, and we had such a great time exploring Manasota Key Beach’s forest of palm trees and sandy shoreline. The sun began to set and we took full advantage of the gorgeous golden hour glow. We are so excited to continue the fun on Kirsten and Brian’s big day! They will host their family and friends at the Earl and Wilson Event Center in St. Paul this coming fall and we can’t wait to continue capturing their love story on their wedding day!
