Fort Myers Beach’s Bowditch Point Park is definitely a favorite of ours for photographing family sessions.  The unique variety in backdrops, with the tall palm trees, white sandy beachfront, and driftwood along the shore, always provides the perfect place for portraits. The beautiful tropical colors of the setting are breathtaking no matter the time of day.  We love the warm hues of golden hour in the evenings as well as the soft pinks and blues of the sky as the sun begins to rise.  We can hardly believe we get to serve families in this little slice of paradise!

When Meg reached out to book her session, we found out that not only do we share mutual friends, but we also photographed her sister’s family session in Minnesota a few years ago!  Meg was traveling down to Fort Myers, Florida to vacation and connect with her in-laws, and we were so excited to book a session for her, and her husband and kids!  We ended up having an absolutely gorgeous evening for their sunset session, and we could not be more in love with their golden hour photos on the beach!  They are such a beautiful family, and the kids did an amazing job for their session!  It was so much fun to see their brother/sister bond, and we had a great time exploring the park together.  We hope that they enjoyed the rest of their vacation, making plenty of great memories in the sunshine state!

We have loved booking family sessions on the beaches of Southwest Florida!  It is always such an honor to photograph families as they enjoy their vacations.  We are all-for families booking tropical vacations on the beach in the wintertime; especially for all of our families headed south from the snowy and cold northern states!
