It was the warmest day of the year to date when we arrived at Fort Myers Beach for Jill’s family session. The sun was out, and the beach was filled with people from all over the world who had gathered to soak up a little taste of summer in the wintertime. As we scouted out the perfect spot for family photos, we stopped to enjoy the music and entertainment of Fort Myers Beach Times Square. Deciding that the beach was a bit too busy, we headed over to Bowditch Point Park for a little less hustle and bustle. A cool breeze began to blow, and the waves softly rolled in, providing the perfect, quiet, and tranquil setting for portraits.
Jill arrived with her husband and sweet daughter, and we set out to find some seashells among the tall palm trees. There is nothing sweeter than watching a three-year-old searching for seashells and smiling as she finds just the “right one” for pictures. This little cutie did an amazing job for her session, and her precious smile and blonde curls made for the most adorable portraits! We explored the park a bit before heading to the waters edge for some photos along the beach. We searched for more treasures in the sand together, and the pink seaweed seemed to be a favorite thing to collect! We finished out the session, all smiles, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for it!
It was truly such an honor to connect with and photograph this sweet family and to hear more about their story. We love serving young families who are vacationing in Southwest Florida, and being able to capture this short but sweet season of their lives is so much fun! We know all too well how quickly time flies!
