We were first time visitors to Estero, Florida’s Koreshan State Park, and it was epic!  Not only does it feel like a little slice of paradise to us Minnesota natives, but it is also absolutely perfect for photographing engagement sessions!  Strolling through the paths lined with palm trees and Spanish moss is as dreamy as it gets, and the setting was ideal for Alyssa and Alex’s engagement session!

From the moment Alyssa reached out to book her wedding we completely fell in love.  These two are the sweetest couple ever and their encouraging emails continue to blow us away with their kindness!  It is always such an honor to photograph fellow photographers, and Alyssa has been a joy to serve!  She and Alex had flown down to Tampa, Florida and drove over two hours for their session in Estero.  We were thrilled when we arrived on one of the most beautiful evenings of the year!  The sun was shining through the trees, and as it glistened through the hanging Spanish moss, it felt a bit like a dream.

Alyssa and Alex are such an incredible couple.  Their love for each other completely radiates through their smiles.  Both looked amazing, and their outfits could not have been more perfect for the setting.  We loved the soft hues of blue in Alyssa’s dress, and Alex was looking dapper in his suit.  They were all-in on exploring, and we set off to find Koreshan’s white bridge amidst the forest of trees.  We finished out the session just as the sun began to set, and we couldn’t be more excited to connect again for their upcoming wedding at Gale Mansion in Minneapolis, MN.  We have no doubt their big day will be every bit as romantic as their engagement session in the sunshine state!
