Hailey and Lucas were looking for a natural setting for their engagement session, and we knew Taylors Falls would be perfect! These two love biking and spending time in the great outdoors together, and we were hoping that we could squeeze in just one more engagement session before the snow begins to fall. Taylors Falls is absolutely beautiful in any season, and mornings are quickly becoming our new favorite time of day for sessions! The sun rising over the hills creates the most magical light over the St. Croix River, and despite the chili morning temps, these two totally rocked their session!
We had such a great time together as we explored the rock cliffs, and it was so much fun to get to know them! We chatted about how they had just closed on a new house, and were working through the unpacking and settling process while also planning their wedding day. Hailey is totally on top of all of the details, and is not only almost entirely settled into their new home, but she also has nearly all of their wedding plans in place. Hearing about their plans just gets us all the more excited to capture their big day, and we love that they are already counting down the days until June!
We also love it when our couples choose a wedding venue that holds special significance to their story. Not only is Anoka where Hailey and Lucas first met, but it is also where Lucas proposed (on the same day that they picked out their venue), and is now where they will be getting married! They were in search of the perfect brick venue, and The Mill Site Events on the River in Anoka will be the ideal setting to host their family and friends next summer!
