Soaking up the beauty of the great outdoors throughout Stillwater and its surrounding areas has been so much fun this fall!  One of our favorite traditions each year is to visit a few of the many apple farms that surround the Twin Cities.  There is something simply magical about apple orchards, and we were so excited when Savannah and Zach asked to book their engagement session at Aamodt’s Apple Farm!  We knew we were in for a treat when we met on a gorgeous fall evening for their session, and quite literally, there may have been a donut or two enjoyed!  Apple donuts are officially a Shane Long Photography favorite, and just one of the many benefits of photographing sessions at the orchard!

The evening’s light seriously could not have been more dreamy for this session.  The bold, bright colors and textures of the apple trees and fields created an ideal natural backdrop, and Savannah’s stunning green gown couldn’t have been more perfect for the setting!  Both she and Zach looked amazing, and it was so great to chat with them as we strolled through the rows of trees and rolling hills of the orchard.  

These two are such a beautiful couple who got engaged this past spring.  They reached out to us after seeing a friend’s wedding photos, and we were so honored when they asked to book their wedding and engagement session with us! We ended their session just as the sun began to set, shining through the cypress trees which reminded us of their gorgeous wedding venue.  They will be getting married at one of our favorite places – Villa Bellezza in Pepin, Wisconsin.  We have no doubt that their wedding will be absolutely breathtaking, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends next summer!
