We can’t think of a better way to kick off our fall engagement session season than in the rolling hills near Maiden Rock, Wisconsin!  The fall colors have just begun to turn, and when Kailey described Caleb’s farm with its trees and fields, we knew we were in for a breathtaking session!  The evening could not have been more beautiful, and the setting was absolutely perfect to capture this sweet couple’s love story.

Kailey and Caleb first connected through their work in the Ag industry.  Caleb knew Kailey’s father, and so he came “pre-approved” when it came time to date Kailey.  They soon discovered they were a match made in heaven, and Caleb proposed to Kailey while vacationing in Yellowstone National Park.  These two are such a beautiful couple, and it was so much fun to spend time getting to know them!  We chatted about the farm, their upcoming wedding, and their summer as we walked through the fields together. Caleb had just finished up with the State Fair where he brings his award-winning sheep for show.  Photographing these two surrounded by Caleb’s sheep, cattle, and Kailey’s sweet dog Hazel was a blast!  Hazel was full of life and excitement as she greeted the sheep who didn’t seem to mind being photographed at all!

We finished up their session among the tall grass and wildflowers, and the evening light was absolutely incredible.  Kailey’s flowing gown was perfect in the golden-hour glow, and her beautiful smile radiated pure joy as she and Caleb walked through the fields.  We had the best time together, and are already counting down the days until their wedding next summer!  They are hosting their big day at the Troy Burne Golf Club, in Hudson, Wisconsin and we can’t wait to celebrate alongside their family and friends!
