Leah and Grant’s love story is absolutely beautiful. The two grew up as neighbors, and Leah literally fell in love with the boy next door. Grant now serves as a Lieutenant in the United States Army, and we are incredibly grateful to him, his groomsmen, and his ushers for their service to our country! Leah lost her mother at a very young age, and Grant proposed to her using her mother’s wedding ring. They made plans to get married at the same church that Leah’s father had grown up in and where he had also gotten married. Needless to say, their wedding day was filled with countless touching moments with both laughter and tears.
The morning began as the ladies prepared, and Leah put on her stunning gown by Madeline Gardner from Lavendar Park Bridal in Clarksville, TN. As she read her letter from Grant, the tears began to flow. She shared a sweet first look with her father and her bridesmaids before meeting Grant outdoors. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we had a blast taking photos with them and their wedding party! The ladies looked amazing in their classy black Azazie dresses from David’s Bridal and the men in their suits from Men’s Wearhouse. The gorgeous white bouquets by Christina Marie Floral were the perfect touch of elegance.
Soon after photos, we traveled to Wooddale Church in Edina for the ceremony which ended with a traditional “sword bridge” exit! We then transitioned to Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska for the reception which looked amazing with linens and decor by Illuminations. Guests enjoyed dinner, speeches, and cake by Emily Grace Cakes which Leah and Grant cut using a sword! We ended the evening with some breathtaking golden hour photos! Leah and Grant, we are so happy for you and we hope that your Maui, Hawaii honeymoon is incredible this fall!
