Photographing engagement sessions at golden hour in the summertime makes being a photographer so much fun!  To be able to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors alongside some of the most incredible couples we’ve had the pleasure of meeting, is truly an honor.  Engagement sessions are some of our favorite sessions to photograph, as they are often the first chance we have to meet our wedding couples.  It is always our goal that our couples feel as comfortable as possible on their wedding day, and by booking an engagement session, it gives them a chance to experience a “photography rehearsal” so to speak.  These sessions also end up providing the best opportunity for us to get to know each other before their wedding day.

These two are such a beautiful, classy, and absolutely wonderful couple, and getting to know them has been such a treat!  Andrew is incredibly kind and Catherine has had the sweetest things to say as we’ve worked together. Both looked amazing for their session, and the colors of their outfits worked perfectly with the natural surroundings.  Catherine’s stunning floral dress could not have been more perfect for the setting, and made this session a blast to photograph! We also loved the way the evening light created the most dreamy glow through her gorgeous flowing curls.  We could hardly wait to share the images with them! As we explored the rolling hills and tall grassy fields together, every single minute was breathtaking. 

We are already so excited for their wedding at Redeemed Farm & Vineyard in Scandia next fall.  Catherine is very organized and has much of her big day already planned!  We know Jenna Culley Events is helping to put together an absolutely amazing day, and we have no doubt every single detail is going to be gorgeous!
