Engagement sessions are SO much fun to photograph and we are incredibly honored to have been able to document this sweet season for hundreds of couples over the years!  There is no other season like it – a time of pure excitement and anticipation as you plan your wedding and anticipate marrying the love of your life!  We know that planning a wedding can be a bit complex.  There are so many details to pull together and countless decisions to make as you plan and prepare to celebrate your big day surrounded by your closest family and friends.  Shortly after booking your wedding venue and photographer, we highly recommend booking your engagement session!

Engagement sessions are always fun, relaxed, and are the perfect way to document the sweetness of your relationship.  The photos are also ideal to use for your Save-the-Dates.  Oftentimes, wedding planners recommend sending out save-the-dates anywhere between 9 to 12 months in advance, so we recommend scheduling your engagement session sooner than later.  If your wedding is over a year away, you can also decide on which season you would like to feature. Spring and fall are always popular with the changing colors, but summer and winter can also be a great way to capture Minnesota’s four seasons. Whether it be the spring blossoms, a warm summer evening on the lake, surrounded by gorgeous fall color, or a cozy, snowy, winter session, we LOVE the ways that couples make their sessions unique.

Another way to make your engagement session unique is to include props or pets.  We love that Kristie and Adam brought along a bottle of champagne as well as their adorable puppy to their session.  These two are seriously the sweetest, most fun couple and we are beyond excited for them as they plan their big day next fall!
