The Hotel Landing in Wayzata is one of our favorite places in the Twin Cities!  The surrounding area has such a classy and nautical vibe with its white and blue shops situated along the shores of the lake.  It was the ideal location for Abby and Frank’s spring engagement session and will also be the perfect venue to host their wedding this fall!  These two are such a beautiful couple and it has been so much fun to get to know them!  They met and fell in love at St. Thomas and got engaged over Thanksgiving weekend.  We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a holiday of giving thanks than to add a “fiancé” to the list of people to be grateful for!

Abby and Frank are so sweet together and we were so excited for their session.  We say it’s never too early to head to the lake, and while the temps were still a bit chilly, we had the best time strolling along the shops as well as by another one of our favorite spots: CoV Wayzata.  We are in love with the way that the blues in their outfits coordinated perfectly with the setting, and always love it when brides incorporate the colors of their wedding into their engagement session. 

These two had a blast together and their sweet laughter made this session so much fun! It was such a treat to capture their engagement in the same place that they will host their wedding day and we are beyond excited for their wedding this fall!  We know their day will be absolutely gorgeous surrounded by all of the fall colors and we can’t wait to celebrate with them and all of their family and friends.  Only 6 months to go, and we are already counting down the days!
