There is nothing more exciting than planning for, and anticipating Spring Break, and Florida is always a favorite destination for Minnesotans looking to head south to soak up some sun. Mid-March is when MSP begins to fill with countless friends and families, all packed and ready for a fun-filled beach getaway.  Jodi, a sweet friend of ours who we have known for years, reached out to us to see if we would be available to photograph a destination portrait session in Orlando.  She and her daughter had planned a special Mother/Daughter trip with some of their closest friends and we were so honored to be able to document such a fun memory!

We had chosen the breathtaking Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve to photograph the session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for this group.  The ladies all looked beautiful in their outfits, and their colors coordinated perfectly, blending in with the pastels and white walls of the backdrops.  Surrounded by the vibrant colors of the palm trees and flowers, these girls were totally in their element as they kicked off their spring break fun!

Carefully choosing the setting in which to document the memory of a special trip is something we love doing!  The look and feel of this setting was stunning, luxurious, light, bright, and fun – perfect for capturing these girls’ personalities.  They had the best time talking and laughing together and we had a blast chatting about their spring break plans.  They had planned to visit Disney World, as well as drive to the coast for a beach day, and we were so happy that they were able to experience this trip together.  Capturing the sweetness of these friendships was such a gift to us and we are so thankful to have been a part of their vacation!
