It is an incredible gift to be able to document seasons in couple’s lives as they celebrate life together!  Destination portrait sessions are the best way to capture love stories surrounded by the stunning scenery of Florida’s most beautiful beaches!  We were beyond excited when Alison contacted us to book a beach session in Clearwater, Florida.  We first met Alison and Paul at their fall engagement session and then connected again for their winter wedding.  To be able to spend time with them again in the winter, only this time on a warm, 80 degree evening, along the coast of the sunshine state, was SO much fun!  These two are always up for an adventure and we couldn’t wait for their beach session to begin!

These two are perfect for each other!  They are the kind of people who become fast friends with everyone they meet and we had a blast hanging out with them.  We loved Alison’s gorgeous, flowing, floral gown and she and Paul looked amazing as they laughed together running through the ocean waves.  Their session could not have been more perfect!  We started out among the palm trees in the golden hour light and then moved to the beach to grab some shots along the water’s edge.  The evening came to a breathtaking close with the soft, pink and blue pastels that follow the sunset.

Alison and Paul are such a fun couple and we remember their wedding like it was yesterday.  Their reception at the incredible McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis was filled with the best of friends having a blast together and laughing the night away.  It’s hard to believe they recently celebrated their two year wedding anniversary!  We are so grateful to have been able to capture so many sweet moments throughout their love story!
