We are so honored to photograph families while they vacation in warm, sunny Florida.  Being able to capture memories that they can enjoy for a lifetime is truly a privilege!  Oftentimes, the first question we are asked when a family books a destination portrait session is, “where should we go for our session?”  Anticipating traveling to a new place, it can feel overwhelming to choose a location that will provide the perfect backdrop for family photos.  Helping families choose a spot that fits their personality, and fits the look they are going for, is one of our favorite challenges of travel photography, and is what makes each session unique. 

The location of a portrait session is a great way to showcase a family’s personality. Rachana’s family is absolutely gorgeous and we found the perfect location for them. Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando, Florida was the ideal setting with its classical architecture surrounded by the stunning landscaping that Florida is so famous for.  Its bright white backdrops with the contrast of the green palms provided the perfect backdrop for their outfits. Rachana looked amazing in her breathtaking pink pastel dress and we loved how the boys coordinated from their white shirts right down to their shoes.  They totally rocked their father/son photos, and the mother/son photos, as Rachana held and snuggled her son, melted our hearts. The bond between a mother and son is just so sweet and it is such a gift to be able to document that!

We wrapped up the session with a few “couples photos”.  These are always some of our favorites as we love capturing a little glimpse of how each family’s love story began!  These two have such a beautiful love for each other and it was so much fun to photograph their sweet family in Florida!
