Kari and Drake’s incredible wedding day began in the Loews Hotel’s Poet and Encore Penthouse suites. The ladies finished up with the talented SM Hair + Makeup as we captured Kari’s beautiful details including her invitations and save the dates by Minted. Andrea Marie Events did a wonderful job of coordinating all of the details. The girls had a blast together as they toasted to the day ahead, and we loved their reaction to seeing Kari in her gorgeous gown from Effie’s Bridal Trunk by Allure Bridals Madison James. We joined the men as they finished haircuts with Rivertown Barbers before putting on their suits by The Black Tux.
We headed to the Church of St. Patrick for Kari and Drake’s first look and portraits. These two are so kind and incredibly sweet together! The wedding party joined us with the bridesmaids looking gorgeous in their cabernet dresses by Azazie and with their stunning bouquets by Florals by Claire. Soon after family photos, the ceremony began with Drake’s grandmother playing the piano. Following the ceremony, we arrived at the Stone Arch Bridge for a few skyline photos before heading in for the reception.
Minneapolis Event Centers, The Grand 1858 looked amazing thanks to their team, along with EDG Productions, and the epic marquee letters provided by Alpha Lit MSP. Guests mingled through cocktail hour before the grand entrance, and enjoyed a delicious dinner as they listened to Kari’s father’s heartfelt speech. Dinner ended with a beautiful array of desserts and cake by Buttercream Bakery. The evening was a blast with dancing hosted by the incredible Bluewater Kings Band and we topped off the night with an epic sparkler exit! Kari and Drake, we hope you are having an amazing time enjoying newlywed life in Cancun! Thank you for allowing us to capture your big day!
