Every single moment from this day reminded us of why we love photographing weddings.  Kaylyn and Jay radiate pure joy and their genuine hearts, gorgeous smiles, and sweet laughter made this wedding a true pleasure to capture.  We were beyond excited from the start as Kaylyn described her day that included a 100 year old wooden boat that she and Jay would sail away on following their ceremony.  Their wedding day was joyful, classy, timeless, romantic, and nautical; all things that make our hearts skip a beat!

Every single aspect of this wedding was perfection.  Jaci of Bloom Designs coordinated the details as well as provided the gorgeous florals.  Tina Beaupre did a beautiful job on makeup and Kaylyn looked absolutely stunning in her gown by Romona Keveza from Annika Bridal.  Jay looked amazing in his suit from Atmosfere and his reaction to seeing Kaylyn, and as they read their sweet vows to each other, was simply breathtaking.  The emotions captured throughout the day, from the first looks, to the first dances, were absolutely unforgettable.  The love between these families is just beautiful, and the kindness they showed, as well as their encouragement throughout the day, was truly a gift!  

The beautiful, intimate ceremony took place in the Grand View Lodge Chapel, after which, Kaylyn and Jay drove off in a classic Cadillac convertible.  We headed down to the beach for a champagne toast before Kaylyn and Jay boarded an incredible Mowitza II with owner, John Allen, to enjoy the scenic views of Gull Lake on the way to their reception at Bar Harbor.  Apres Party and Bloom Designs created the perfect setting for their dinner, complete with custom stir sticks for cocktails.  The reception was filled with endless laughter as they danced the evening away.  Kaylyn and Jay, we are so excited for you to celebrate as husband and wife in St. Barts and St. Lucia!  You two are perfect together, and we are so grateful to have been able to serve you and your families!  We hope that you enjoy reliving your wedding through your photos as much as we loved documenting your incredible wedding day!
