Engagement session season is in full swing and we could not be happier!  The weather is perfect, the colors are out, and we are beyond thankful to work with such incredible couples!  Caitlin and Eli, along with their dog, Rooney, arrived for their engagement session on a gorgeous fall day at the incredible Taylors Falls.  Rooney is a mini Bernedoodle and did such an amazing job.  It wasn’t hard to get these two laughing with Rooney’s spunky and entertaining personality!  After a few puppy photos, Caitlin’s mom took Rooney and we set off to explore.  The leaves had just begun to change and the fall colors were gorgeous!  The evening light was perfect and the sun began to set as we walked along the rivers edge.

Caitlin and Eli looked amazing in their fall colors and these two are so much fun together!  They first connected in high school, and Eli was even Caitlin’s date for her senior year prom.  They reconnected again a few years after high school and have been inseparable since.  They both love to be active and love working out, biking, running and hiking together.   Eli played soccer through college and Caitlin played professional hockey and spent a year in Germany.  They got engaged on the beautiful St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and the wedding planning began!

Their big day is planned for next summer at the incredible Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove.  We can’t say enough about Hope Glen! The rolling hills, pastures, and the epic treehouse make it such a beautiful and unique wedding venue. The staff are amazing and work hard to do all that they can to ensure that their couples have an amazing wedding day. We are already counting down the days until Caitlin and Eli’s big day!
