We can’t even begin to explain how incredibly sweet it was to photograph this Senior Portrait session.  We have known Laura’s family for years and were so honored to photograph her three older brother’s senior portraits over time as our business has grown.  Laura’s mom is amazing and her friendship has meant so much to us throughout the years.  Laura has even babysat for our kids from time to time and we can hardly believe she is already a senior!  Time definitely flies when you are having fun!

Laura is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out.  She is unbelievably talented at singing and has the sweetest heart for caring for others.  We were so excited to capture her beautiful smile and loved the outfits that she chose.  Her colors were perfect for the natural setting and her wavy curls looked amazing with the glow of the setting sun among the willow trees.  She had decided to get her hair and makeup professionally done and both looked gorgeous! While hiring these services out is certainly not required, having both done professionally does remove the stress of getting ready on your own!

These services can also give you an extra boost of confidence in front of the camera, and professional makeup always photographs like a dream. If you’re working with a makeup artist, if possible, have her apply your makeup in natural light so that it looks fresh and not too heavy. A professional will also know how much makeup you’ll need to show well on camera and help you look your best and most natural! That said, if you feel more “you” by doing your own hair and makeup – stick with that! The key is to feel comfortable and confident, and to have fun as we document the beauty of who you are!
