When we met Taylor and Brandon in Taylors Falls for their engagement session last fall, we never could have imagined what life would look like this summer. Their wedding was originally planned to take place in July, however, with all the changes that this year has presented, Taylor and Brandon decided to move their wedding date up by a month and celebrate with close family and friends in Taylors Falls instead! We can’t get enough of these intimate wedding celebrations and we were thrilled to be able to photograph a wedding in one of our favorite places in Minnesota!
The evening was perfect with light cloud coverage creating perfect light for their ceremony. Brandon read his letter from his beautiful bride and couldn’t wait for the moment she would become his wife! Escorted by her father, Taylor slowly made her way down the steps to meet her groom. The two exchanged vows overlooking the beautiful St. Croix River complete with a flower petal toss after saying I Do! We took a few family portraits before celebrating with cake and champagne with their family and friends.
Taylor and Brandon are such a gorgeous couple and the two were up for anything as we set off to explore Taylors Falls. Portraits along the rivers’ edge was like something out of a photographer’s dream and we took full advantage of the endless photo opportunities that Taylors Falls presents! Taylor looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown from the Wedding Shoppe and Brandon looked amazing in his suit from Men’s Wearhouse, complete with a boutonniere with photographs remembering those who couldn’t be with them to celebrate their day. It was truly an honor to serve this sweet couple and we can’t wait to celebrate with them again at the beautiful Creekside Farm and Events in Rush City!
