Welcome back winter, once again!  Oh how we love the white backdrops that snow creates.  When you add in the texture that the frosted pine trees bring in, it’s like winter portrait perfection!  There really is no easier time to photograph people than when the entire ground acts as a giant reflector.  On a soft, evenly lit day like the morning of this session, it really doesn’t get easier for light!

Amy is amazing and we were so happy we were able to photograph her family this year!  We met on a chili winter morning and took full advantage of the new, freshly fallen snow.  The kids were troopers and you never would have guessed the temperature of the morning by their smiles and laughter.  We love it when siblings are close in age; it really is like having a built-in best friend!  The pictures of the two of them are some of our all-time favorites!  We also loved their classy black, white, and grey color scheme!  As the session was wrapping up, the family’s dogs joined the fun.  They were so sweet and we loved seeing their personalities shine through in the photos. We had a blast together and couldn’t wait to work on and deliver their photos!
