One of our favorite things about Minnesota is its variety in seasons. Though low temperatures and snow seem to dominate much of our year, the beauty of each season is truly a gift! Late fall usually brings on the cold temperatures and yet the color still left in some of the trees makes it a favorite for engagement photos! We try to take advantage of every last ounce of color before the snow begins to fall and late November has always given us one last chance for fall photos!
Taylor and Brandon’s session was nothing short of perfection and we were so glad we were able to schedule before the snow began to fly. Taylors Falls was the perfect setting and we couldn’t wait to take advantage of the epic morning light through the mist off the river. Sunrise in November, however, is not for the faint of heart. We always tell our couples that you can’t tell what the temperatures were from the photos and with temps in the 20s and 30s, wearing a dress can be a challenge. Taylor’s dress was absolutely stunning and definitely worth it! She and Brandon’s colors were perfect for fall and they looked incredible together! They both were amazing and totally up for anything!
When the sun began to rise just above the tree line, it all became worth the early morning temps! The light was nothing short of magical throughout the entire session as we explored the rocks and cliffs along the rivers’ edge. The bold, bright colors in the leaves along with the texture of the rocks and water created the perfect natural backdrop much like their wedding venue. They are getting married at the beautiful Creekside Farm Wedding & Events next summer and we can’t wait to capture their big day!
