Joining our Florida couples in their home state to capture their engagement sessions has been such an honor this year!  After flying into the Tampa International Airport, we made our way over to the beaches of Clearwater, Florida and enjoyed dinner at the incredible Island Way Grill.  The following morning, we met Tami and Chris at Sand Key Park and started their session among the beautiful, lush palms.  The soft, even light of the day was perfect and we love how the texture of the trees looked with Tami’s gorgeous dress.  Chris’ navy jacket and khakis paired perfectly with her colors and they both looked amazing!  We had the best time getting to know them and hearing their story!  Not only are both Tami and Chris runners, but Tami has completed several Iron Man races and Chris has raced in triathlons in over 11 countries!  We were completely blown away hearing their stories!

For the second half of their session, we headed over to Abu Seba Beach and completely fell in love.  We have experienced one other “drive-on-the-sand” beach; (the famous Daytona Beach), and though smaller, this beach gave a similar experience without the crowds.  Two local fishermen were the only others there and the calm waters of the bay along with the palms right on the sand provided the perfect setting for photos!  We found our favorite palm tree, with it’s bright orange fronds, and loved the way it worked with the colors in Tami’s floral dress!

We had such a great time with these two and are so excited to photograph their wedding at one of our favorite venues: The Hidden Meadow and Barn!  It will be the perfect setting for their summer wedding and the perfect time of year for these Floridians to head up to Pepin, Wisconsin! We can’t wait to celebrate with them!
