MEC, The Grand 1858 | Wedding

The Minneapolis Event Center provides endless opportunities for incredible photos so when Karissa said “We are up for whatever you think will photograph best,” it couldn’t have been a better way to begin the day!  As a photographer, those words are the greatest thing to hear and we explored all that summer in Minneapolis has to offer!  The day began with the incredible Spa Beauty Agency on hair and makeup and the girls had a blast laughing together as they got ready.  Karissa’s dress from The White Room was by San Patrick and was absolutely stunning!  Joining the men, Brian’s mother handed him a beautiful letter that he read just before seeing his bride for the first time.  Capturing those sweet moments is such a privilege and one we never take for granted!

Karissa was wearing white Minnetonka Moccasins, and was ready to adventure anywhere. With blue sky overhead and the sun shining through the trees we walked down the brick streets of St. Anthony Main and alongside the creek that runs to the Mississippi.  With the Stone Arch Bridge towering in the distance, Brian and Karissa enjoyed a moment just the two of them on their wedding day.  It. was. magical.  We joined the wedding party and families for portraits and everyone looked incredible with the ladies in their gowns from Azazie and the men in suits from Generation Tux.  Taylor from Entourage Events Group did a phenomenal job coordinating the day and providing the gorgeous bouquets and florals!

We headed to the Bridal Suite where Karissa’s mom adjusted her veil just before heading out for the courtyard ceremony.  Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner, a gorgeous cake by Farina Baking Company, and dancing with Bellagala DJs.  Brian and Karissa, we know Italy will be stunning and hope that you have an amazing time celebrating as husband and wife!
