Bailey and Rider’s wedding day at the Hutton House was amazing and we couldn’t wait for their Minneapolis portrait session to continue the fun! Booking a portrait session following your wedding day is one of the best ways to celebrate as husband and wife! Not only does it give you another chance to put on your gorgeous wedding gown, but it adds variety to your wedding photos! Booking a portrait session in a new or different setting from your wedding venue allows you the chance to get some fun shots that your wedding day timeline might not have allowed for. Couples portrait sessions are always so relaxed and so much fun!
Bailey and Rider began their session with the most beautiful summer sunrise! The Minneapolis skyline is gorgeous in any season but there is something incredible about seeing the morning light fill the skyline in soft pink and pastel colors. The quiet of the early morning provided the most romantic setting and we explored the city beginning with the skyline near the Stone Arch Bridge. One of our favorite spots for photos is along a large vine wall and among the greens and florals along the way. We loved the way Rider’s navy suit popped with all the greens!
Following photos along the river, we continued down St. Anthony Main and into one of our favorite areas for photos – the Machine Shop. Bailey’s wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace is one of our favorites! The way it flowed as she spun around and the detailing in the lace is just stunning! By the end of the session, the city was lit up in summer sunshine and Bailey and Rider had a blast dancing the morning away! We absolutely love these two and couldn’t have had a more perfect morning with them!
