We LOVE Duluth!!!  We’ve been counting down the days until we could head up north to celebrate with Lindsey and Ryan by capturing their big day!  The morning began with sunshine and summer heat as we began photos with the ladies in their matching floral robes. Elwynn + Cass was wonderful to work with and Tracy from Captivating Beauty did a beautiful job on hair and makeup!  A few of our favorite moments from the morning were the emotional reactions of Lindsey’s father and her bridesmaids when seeing her in her dress!  We loved her train and detailing of her Wedding Shoppe gown – she looked absolutely gorgeous!

We headed over to Chester Park for a few wedding party photos before the ceremony.  The beauty of the waterfall and the surrounding trees provided the perfect natural backdrop!  Northland Special Events created stunning bouquets that paired perfectly with the blush colored gowns.  We had a blast and can’t wait to see what Jordan captured on video! We finished up with the men before heading over to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary.  The summer flowers were in bloom and we took full advantage of them for a few family portraits just before heading in for Lindsey and Ryan’s first moment together in prayer.  There is something incredibly beautiful about beginning a marriage by being surrounded by family and friends in prayer.

Following the ceremony and more portraits at Chester Park, we headed into Duluth for the reception.  The Holiday Inn & Suites, Downtown Duluth provide the perfect rooftop for a backdrop of the city and the lift bridge in the distance!  First Choice Entertainment hosted the dance and Duluth Event Lighting provided the perfect ambiance for the night.  Lindsey and Ryan, we hope you are enjoying every minute of your honeymoon in sunny Colorado!  It was an honor to capture your wedding day!
