We can’t think of two professions more deserving of praise and gratitude than those who are serving in the armed forces and in healthcare.  It has been an absolute honor to be able to get to know Abby and Brenden.  They are the most beautiful, kind couple with a huge heart for serving others!  Brenden is in the military and Abby is a nurse at Mayo.  They were in California when we first spoke with them about their wedding plans and it is so much fun to hear them dream!  They have chosen the beautiful Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens to host their big day and we hope that their May 2020 wedding is as dreamy and amazing as their spring engagement session was!

When Abby let us know that Brenden’s leave began a few days earlier than expected, we were thrilled!  We were able to move their session to a gorgeous sunny evening and fell in love with the flowering trees in the soft, spring light!  These two were absolute naturals and it’s safe to say that absence really does make the heart grow fonder!  A long-distance relationship can be challenging – especially for those serving in the military!  Thankfully, these two are surrounded by an amazing support system through their family and friends and a love for each other that is absolutely beautiful!

Every bit of their engagement session was breathtaking.  We loved the way their outfits coordinated perfectly with the spring colors and we finished the session with Brenden’s uniform.  Seeing the photos of this beautiful young couple so willing to sacrifice for our country brings tears to our eyes and fills our hearts with gratitude!  As we anticipate celebrating Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who gave everything, those still sacrificially serving, and those who are caring for others here at home!
