There is nothing better than celebrating the happiest day of your life alongside your best friends and family! Alison and Paul’s wedding party was a blast to work with and both the ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Miesville, MN and the reception at McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis, MN were so much fun!
It was a beautiful winter day for Alison and Paul’s wedding and heading south to Hastings, excitement for the day to begin was running high! Hanna from 5th Ave Color Company began the day with hair and makeup and the girls greeted us in their matching flannel shirts. Coordinating outfits for the preparation part of the day is such a fun way to capture your favorite ladies!
Alison’s sister, Amy, helped her into her gorgeous gown by Kenneth Winston which she found at Raffine Bridal just in time for one of our favorite reveals of the day – the bridesmaid reveal! These girls were so much fun and brought such an energy to the day! Though the ladies’ reaction to seeing Alison was sweet, NOTHING could have topped Paul’s reaction to seeing his bride. These two were amazing together and from the minute they saw each other Alison couldn’t stop smiling! We are excited to see what Relive Films captured on video of this moment! After a few shots with the couple’s dog, we headed outside to brave the cold for a few more photos.
The bridesmaids joined us in their navy dresses from Azazie and the men with their grey suits from Men’s Warehouse. Moody Hues Floral did an amazing job putting together the gorgeous bouquets including a sweet tribute to Alison’s grandfather with the red roses in Alison’s bouquet. There were so many emotional grandparent moments in this day – there is just something sweet about generations watching generations get married!
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Joseph’s Church and can we just say that we love churches with balconies!?! A huge thanks to Jeff Stene for second shooting and capturing the epic balcony shot of Alison walking down the aisle!
Following the ceremony, it was off to the iconic Stone Arch Bridge on a mini coach bus for some incredibly fun wedding party photos before heading to the McNamara Alumni Center for the reception. D’Amico Catering and Nick Productions as DJ did a fabulous job of making this reception amazing! Everything from the speeches to the dance was a blast and we wish Alison and Paul all the best as they celebrate newlywed life!
