We had the privilege of touring one of Fort Myers, Florida’s most unique wedding venues: Edison & Ford Winter Estates! Not only does this venue feature historical homes, lush gardens, and beautiful landscapes to serve as stunning backdrops for photos, but they also provide a truly unique historical setting that all guests are sure to enjoy! From the moment we began our tour, we fell in love with the staff at this venue! Kelsi was such a gracious host and filled us in on all the special features that their wedding couples enjoy! Communication with Cori, the site’s Events Coordinator, and her team was second-to-none! As one of the largest investments of a wedding day, working with an amazing team at the wedding venue is critical to ensuring an organized and relaxing wedding day. Couples will absolutely love working with this team!
As we toured the grounds of these estates, we were amazed at the variety of locations that couples are able to feature for their ceremony backdrop! We loved the seemingly endless possibilities for the unique look and feel of each location. The Moonlight Garden provides an intimate, romantic setting surrounded by beautiful flowers that is perfect for photos, first looks, and small wedding ceremonies. We absolutely loved the lights! The Coconut Grove along the Caloosahatchee River is the perfect tropical setting that provides a waterfront location ideal for golden-hour ceremonies! One of our favorite ceremony locations was at the base of the grounds’ giant Mysore Fig tree along the river. We love the way the roots intertwined and provided a gorgeous, natural backdrop. There are endless possibilities for the variety of trees at this venue and one of our favorite features was the option of a tree planting ceremony in which couples can commemorate their marriage by planting a tree right in the historical gardens!
