Who doesn’t love a stunning, white, winter wedding!?  This day was perfectly planned and beautifully executed down to the last detail by the talented April Long of Evergreen Weddings!  When you work with couples as amazing as these two, and a team of vendors that you love, you count down the minutes until their wedding day arrives!

When Pie and Alex’s wedding day finally came, Shane headed down to Hotel 340 and the St. Paul Athletic Club to begin with the ladies as they prepared for the day.  We LOVED the girl’s matching pineapple shirts!  Mindie, one of our all-time favorite makeup artists, had done an amazing job with the girl’s makeup and Natalie created stunning work with their hair!  Pie’s gown by Pronovias was gorgeous and even featured a detachable train!  Pie found her bridesmaid dresses at the Wedding Shoppe and we loved how classic the black gowns looked paired with the men’s black tuxedos.

Joining the men, Shane photographed a few details including Alex’s The Black Tux classy tuxedo.  Boutonnieres and bouquets were styled and created by Bachman’s and they were elegant and absolutely perfect for this day!  The portrait section of the day consisted of utilizing the St. Paul Athletic Club’s pool room, the hotel’s yoga studio, and the streets of St. Paul just outside the hotel.  Jacob captured some great video of all the fun!

Pie and Alex’s ceremony was beautiful!  There were so many sweet and emotional moments that continued throughout the evening with the speeches in their beautiful ballroom reception.  We loved the elegant decor from this wedding and how the couple incorporated so many beautiful elements of winter and snow.  Instant Request provided the lighting and the cake by Buttercream Cakes was both beautiful and delicious!  The dance was a blast and Blaine Beck rocked it as DJ.
