Hansen Tree Farm | Fall Engagement

We absolutely LOVE doing engagement sessions for our couples!  Paige & Tylar are the sweetest and were naturals when it came to sharing their love with the camera.  Their wedding will take place in the summer at the Hutton House in Medicine Lake, and we love it when couples choose to use the opposite season for their engagement session than their wedding.  We always recommend that couples bring two outfits for their engagement session – that way, it is as if you had two photoshoots and you can create a completely different look with each set of photos.  Whether it be using your photos for Save-the-Date cards, for canvases to showcase on your wedding day, or simply to have a few photos to decorate your mantle at home, having a variety can showcase a bit of your personality as well as tie in your wedding day colors!  Paige looked stunning in her tule gown and the backdrop of the textured pines couldn’t have been more perfect with the dreamy diffused light that day.

When Paige & Tylar shared that they were hoping to do their engagement session at Hansen Tree Farm in Anoka, we couldn’t have been more excited!  Not only is the farm stunning, but the owners are amazing about allowing photographers use their farm for photo-sessions year-round!  Whether you decide to do a session there during their busy season with the hustle and bustle of the tree cutting craziness or in the peace of mid-summer, being surrounded in pines for your photo session is worth the investment!  If you are interested in reserving a time for your next photo session, click Here to see all that they have to offer including:
