Looking for an amazing destination wedding experience without having to leave the state?  Minnesota’s hidden gem of shoreline can be found along the North Shore at Lutsen Resort!  Megan and Zach had the most beautiful wedding day!  Some would say it was beautiful despite the rain.  WE would say it was beautiful WITH the rain!  It almost gave a feeling of being in Hawaii walking along the shoreline through the mist.

The morning began in the resort’s suite as Megan prepared for the day.  We are swooning over the detail of Megan’s gown from Effie’s Bridal Trunk.  Her dress is by Lis Simon and the texture and lines were absolutely gorgeous.  The men looked dapper in Milbern Clothing suits and everything was tied together perfectly by the incredibly talented Saffron and Grey florist.  The pops of color from Megan’s bouquet against the grey and white mist couldn’t have been more perfect!

Zach’s reaction to seeing Megan for the first time takes our breath away every time we see it!  The way he looked at his bride was simply beautiful.  These two were INCREDIBLE to work with and were great sports when it came to walking the beach in the rain.  Their dog joined us for a few beach shots and we loved how his coat of white fur fit right in with the color scheme of the day! 🙂

The ceremony was beautiful and we loved their idea of planting flowers as part of the unity tradition.  The guests enjoyed a meal served by Lutsen Resort complete with bundt cakes for dessert.  Speeches during dinner were such a sweet time of emotion with both laughter and tears, and the dance that followed was no exception!  We can’t get enough of those father-daughter dances!
