One of the greatest compliments we can receive is being invited to photograph another wedding for the same family! After meeting Katie at her sister’s wedding, we were incredibly honored when she and McClain reached out to book with us for their own big day!  We were so excited to connect again at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis, MN for their gorgeous summer engagement session.  From historic brick buildings and industrial architecture to nearby greenery alongside the river, there are endless opportunities for stunning backdrops, and these two arrived looking absolutely incredible with outfits that complimented the setting perfectly!  We had the best time exploring throughout the evening and loved getting to know these two more as we talked.

Katie and McClain met in high school before attending the University of St. Thomas and now live in Chicago. Whether it be playing pickleball, swimming, or spending time with their sweet kitten at home, these two are loving life in the city!  They also love traveling, and McClain pulled off an unforgettable proposal in Switzerland by Lake Lugano near Lake Como in Italy.  We can’t imagine a more breathtaking setting for Katie to say “yes” and we could not be more excited for them as they plan their dream day!

As we wrapped up their session on St. Anthony Main, we chatted about their weekend plans.  They were heading up north to spend time relaxing at their family’s cabin and planned to tour their venue while in town.  They will host their big day at the Catalyst at Nature Link in Nisswa, and we are already counting down the days until next fall!  If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding is going to be absolutely incredible, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends!
