We are officially back up north and truly can’t think of a more beautiful way to start out our spring season than with Maddy and Justin’s engagement session! From the moment Maddy reached out to book their wedding at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, she was incredibly kind, and we couldn’t wait to meet! We always love connecting with couples who have ties to both Minnesota and Southwest Florida, and getting to document this exciting season of life is such a joy!

We met for their session at William O’Brien State Park, and the evening could not have been more perfect with blue skies and golden light streaming through the trees, creating the dreamiest setting to capture Maddy and Justin as they soak up this season as fiancés.  These two are such a gorgeous couple and looked amazing in both of their outfits!  They also brought along their adorable Cavapoo who did a fantastic job posing for photos. Including pets in engagement sessions always adds such a personal touch, and Franklin made the evening all the more memorable!

We had the best time with these two, and loved getting to hear more about their story!  Justin knew he wanted to propose during a family Christmas celebration and had shared his plans with friends ahead of time.  Everyone managed to keep the surprise quiet until the big moment, and when he popped the question beside the tree, everyone was thrilled!  Since then, wedding planning has been in full swing, and we are beyond excited for them as they plan their dream destination wedding in Naples next winter.  We have no doubt their big day will be absolutely incredible, and we can’t wait to continue capturing Maddy and Justin’s love story! We are already counting down the days until we get to celebrate with them!
