Lyndale Park Rose Garden | Spring Engagement

Mandi and Steve knew they wanted a spring engagement session to capture all of the colors and beauty of this season!  With only a slight postponement due to rain, we waited for the perfect evening to capture their session amidst the gorgeous spring florals of Lyndale Park Rose Garden in Minneapolis.  The Rose Garden is the second oldest public rose garden in the United States, and showcases 3,000 plants in 100 different varieties.  Literally everything was in bloom and we were once again blown away by the beauty of this place!  The light, the colors, the weather, the couple – it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening!

Mandi and Steve were so kind and sweet to work with and the soft spring light worked perfectly with their outfits!  We loved the way that the flowers framed the gorgeous waves in Mandi’s hair and are completely head-over-heels in love with her hair piece!  We captured countless gorgeous shots among the pink and white trees and rose and tulip fields and ended the evening out on the dock alongside Lake Harriet.  Mandi’s beautiful blue floral dress and the blanket they brought along created the perfect serene and romantic feel to the photos at the end of the night!

If their engagement session is any indication of how beautiful their wedding day will be, we are in for a dream-come-true kind of day!  We love that Mandi is a planner and already has so many amazing details planned for their wedding.  Their big day will take place in the fall at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, nestled among farm fields and rolling green acres and complete with a garden ceremony.  Mandi describes her day as romantic, elegant, timeless, intimate and inviting.  Sounds like a dream wedding to us and we can’t wait to photograph their big day!!!
